Purpose of role:


To develop the Blackmores brand in new channels/markets, by building a strong innovation pipeline in key chosen categories, that will enable Blackmores to still be one of the top brands in the VDS category.


This is a highly critical, end to end role that will take charge of charting and executing the path to growth in new channels/markets through (1) strategic product portfolio development & innovation pipeline (2) campaign development to build the growth segments


Close partnership with local stakeholders and external supply chain partners will be needed.


Responsibilities include:


Innovation Pipeline/ NPDs Lead

  • Based on China’s category and competitive context, with robust data analytics, work out the right portfolio for the key chosen segments in new channels/markets
  • Drive consumer segmentation
  • Work closely with PD teams & external suppliers to deliver meaningful products that center on the needs of Chinese consumers, including concepts, formulation, research, packaging etc.
  • Initiate/harness market/consumers researches, as part of overall brand plans to identify trends, develop NPDs and insightful campaigns
  • Lead disciplined post launch reviews of NPDs with course correction plans as needed


Lead Digital Campaigns and Media Marketing inclusive of Platform marketing of FSS

  • Lead insight development, and direct the agency to deliver consumer winning campaigns that drive brand and segment awareness + consideration
  • Work with media team to ensure brand integrity and maximized SOV in all platforms including social and eCommerce platforms.
  • Oversee platform marketing content (copy, design, cadence) to increase click through and conversion rates in line with brand guidelines.


Growth Segment strategy and execution

  • Translate marketing strategy and plans into quantifiable and actionable targets at various time frames
  • Own the segmentation and consumer decision journey for the growth segments in China
  • Responsible for high quality execution of plans with cross functional teams inclusive marketing campaigns, on time NPDs launches,


Operations

  • Engagement in monthly forecast as part of Integrated Business Planning (IBP), working with Sales and Demand Planning


Who are you?

  • Degree in Marketing and/ or Economics/ Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years commercial experience in product and brand management and GTM marketing
  • Proven track record in innovation/ NPD development,
  • Experienced in brand/campaign development particularly in digital and ecommerce context
  • Experience in health supplements, nutrition or skincare categories are strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytic & planning skills; Good understanding of business financials
  • With FMCG Marketing background
  • Fluent in Chinese and English both verbal and written
