Furthermore, Mr. Chongjiu Zhao, Head of the State Post Bureau, stated that the express delivery industry is a door-to-door logistics service, and the “last mile delivery” is a crucial aspect of the process. For a long time, the State Post Bureau has been working extensively on this issue. "Going forward, we will actively explore the application of low-altitude logistics scenarios, such as drone delivery, to enable widespread use of drones and eVTOLs." In front of the media, EHang's COO, Mr. Zhao Wang, shared our latest progress on advancing the commercial operations of the EH216-S pilotless eVTOL, “after certified by the CAAC, we're focusing on producing and delivering the EH216-S, while actively preparing for commercial operations, including setting up operating companies, providing operational training, and expanding use scenarios.” EHang has already established command-and-control centers for its eVTOL products in multiple locations, enabling accurate monitoring of in-flight status, aircraft dispatch, implementation of pre-warning and contingency measures, etc. Mr. Wang emphasized, “EHang has been using its smart command-and-control system to enable autonomous flight since the early days, from the first pilotless eVTOL to now. China's low-altitude economy on the Rise! 🚁 Last week, two pivotal industry conference were held in Guangzhou: Guangdong Province - High-Quality Development of Low-Altitude Economy Conference and Guangzhou City - Accelerating Low-Altitude Economy Development & Full-Space Unmanned Systems. During the conference, Guangzhou has announced 12 use scenarios for low-altitude economy and full-space unmanned systems, with plans to establish 100 vertiports across the city by 2027. The city has also introduced the 'Guangzhou Measures for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Low-Altitude Economy', a comprehensive package of 20 measures aimed at nurturing low-altitude economy entities, building infrastructure, driving innovation, expanding application scenarios, and strengthening supporting factors. Guangdong Governor, Mr. Weizhong Wang attended the conference and delivered a keynote address, emphasizing that developing the low-altitude economy is a crucial national strategic decision. “Guangdong boasts a strong foundation and unique advantages for low-altitude economy growth,” he stated. “We've launched the Guangdong Province Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Low-Altitude Economy (2024-2026). Our goals are to drive reform and innovation in low-altitude airspace, strategically develop infrastructure, expand application scenarios, and establish a world-class low-altitude economy hub.”

Thrilled to share that EHang participated in the World Intelligence EXPO 2024 in Tianjin this week and completed our first flight in the city! 🚁✨ Our EH216-S stole the show as the world's first certified pilotless eVTOL.
