Just another bait and switch extension. It'll do single words and does it fine, but if you try to translate more than one word at the same time you have to make an account. Alright, fair. "Read and change all your data on all websites". Ehh...Ok...I understand why bc of the way the extension works, but it could have been worded a bit differently to not seem so sketchy. Start testing it out and doing some simple phrases. Yeah, ok, not too bad. I like the format and ease of use. Then, oh, you'v... Show more

Sorry you feel that way. It is marked as "Offers in-app purchases" on the Chrome web store, but maybe it could be more obvious. A lot of people do use it on the free plan and like you say, I do need to charge to make it worthwhile to continue maintaining and developing it. The "Read and change all your data on all websites" is Chrome's wording, not mine, but it is accurate, and you should be very careful installing extensions with this ability. If you don't want to use the Chrome extension because of this you can use Readlang directly at readlang.com instead, either finding texts there or uploading your own texts to read. There is another cool feature on readlang.com which is the AI explanations of words, but like the phrases, you only get 10 per day of those for free, or it's $6 / month or $48 / year for unlimited.

It's a beautiful app, but there is only one question here: why when I clicked on the word and got a translation above it I can't see the translations on the rest of the same words? e.g. I've clicked on "permission" word and there are 5 more "permission" words on the page. Why I see the translation only one the first word? Is there any chance to add the translations on the rest of the same words? Anyway we can emphasis all of them
