I mean, seriously, I can see you at your next job interview...
**Interviewer:** And what would you say is your greatest weakness?
**You:** I sometimes accidentally do my job so well that it disrupts the company's internal dynamic.

This is really really freaking hilarious. Dude! You are a HERO! You have got to document this! Put every detail on your CV. Go get a games job. Anything!

It sounds like you have a terrible manager. They are supposed to shield you and back you up in the midst of upper management scrutiny. Anything that happens on a managers team is the managers responsibility. If they didn't review the game then it's on them. If they did and let it out it's also on them. I'd look for a way out of the team at least, and a way out of the company at most.

You should try to get fired over this and apply at a game development company. One of the rare situation where a "how I got fired" story actually drastically improves your chance of getting a job.

Have another conversation with your boss about how long management want training to last and introduce in-game penalties/loss-of-function for players who take too long. Consider looking for a job in this field: corporate training is generally dull and you have something special to offer!

Examine the statistics of your game, and what the players learned. If you can show that the additional time spent testing actually improved their scores that is one thing. If statistics show they got a 98% five times in a row just trying to top the leader board that is a problem. Clearly the 13 days person is an outlier anomaly abusing the system.

I laughed out loud and this. Thanks. Keep up the good work BTW. If people cannot pull themselves away from your game, that is their problem.

Modify your game so that it is limited to 4 hours.

@Darkwing that's a management issue. Like I said, are you going to blame the Admin for ordering rubber bands if people start to playfully shoot them in the office, or are you going to talk to the people abusing the rubber bands?

@JuanCarlosOropeza And some people shoot rubber bands across the room. That's no reason to get mad at the admin for ordering them.

@JuanCarlosOropeza obviously they are learning the content if test scores now average a high A instead of a strong D. It's the business world, results matter.

@JuanCarlosOropeza he got scores up from 68% to 96%. How is tnat a game and not a training tool.
