The Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in providing expert assistance and guidance to customers, colleagues, and stakeholders regarding a specific product or set of products within the organization.
Key Responsibility:
Advanced Issue Resolution:
Handle complex technical issues that require in-depth knowledge
Collaborate with Expert support for problem resolution
Mentor Junior support agents
Customer Escalations:
Manage and resolve customer escalations effectively
Provide in-depth explanations and solutions for complex problems
Knowledge:
Advanced Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using advanced tools such as Jira, Zendesk, Confluence
In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network configurations
Product/Service Configuration:
Ability to guide customers through advanced product configurations
Understanding of integration with other systems and applications
Problem Analysis:
Analytical skills to diagnose and solve complex technical problems
Root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
Requirements
Proven experience in technical support, with a strong technical background
