Procurement Director

The Procurement Director of Terminal Investment Limited (TIL) will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will have the responsibility to manage and oversee all the procurement operations in TIL.

The position is newly created, and the ideal candidate must have entrepreneurial spirit, pragmatic approach, empathy, hands-on mentality and walk-the-talk as a leader.

The candidate will enter in an established and well structure organization where he will be asked to be part of a cross-functional team and provide contribution to improve the efficiency and minimize the TCO of TIL.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define and implement a procurement process for TIL
• Create category management structure for TIL
• Define and implement a procurement structure in TIL
• Harmonize and consolidate the needs for goods and services among the different terminals
• Define priorities and Global/Regional/Local responsibilities
• Define Procurement KPIs
• Define and implement a reporting structure on Procurement KPIs
• Support TIL budgeting process
• Continuous benchmark and market analysis
• Coordinate and explore synergies with JV Terminals
• Forecasting ongoing demands for goods and services
• Negotiating contracts and service agreements with suppliers
• Acting as the main contact point for organizational procurement related questions.
• Close interaction with TIL Technical team to ensure all agreements are generating contractual values.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
• At least 15 years’ experience in Global Procurement organizations
• Procurement experience in heavy machinery and civil engineering construction contracts, as well as software.
• Prior experience in maritime and/or port terminals’ industry is considered a plus
• Entrepreneurial spirit and approach
• Strong negotiations’ skills
• Process improvement mindset
• Experience with environmental and sustainable procurement is a strong advantage
