Airbotics Talent are exclusively partnered with an exciting UAV manufacturer based in Zurich to hire a Mechanical Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on highly innovative, cutting edge technology in a dynamic and entrepreneurial start-up environment.
The Role
As a key member of the Research & Development team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative autonomous drone hardware solutions. This role will be critical in taking their product from prototype to launch. You will have cradle to grave responsibility and be key in the design, build and delivery of a highly anticipated system.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a Mechanical Engineer role
Experience in the design and development of UAV, robotics or other complex hardware, ideally with full system design ownership (not just small componentry)
Proficiency with CAD and design software
A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, Robotics or similar field
A willingness to get hands on up given start up nature of the business
A confident character, able to challenge and influence development phase
Residency in Zurich, or willing to relocate from wider Switzerland / a EU member state
