Your role and responsibilities

Are you ready to lead and shape the future of IT Infrastructure Services for our Process Automation business and its diverse lines? As the IS Manager / Head of Infrastructure, you will provide strategic leadership and direction, ensuring the establishment of integrated, world-class infrastructure services. Your role will involve overseeing all activities that optimize value and cost, minimize risk, and ensure seamless business operations, all in alignment with the overall ABB IS strategy and framework. You will provide high-level architecture and IT operational guidance to business stakeholders, contributing to discussions on potential solutions. Your responsibilities will include creating, contributing to, and maintaining infrastructure and security-related regulations, standards, and procedures as required. You will set and monitor performance targets, manage relationships with stakeholders, ensure compliance and governance, and manage the IS budget and spend. Overseeing and challenging IS service delivery (RUN) to ensure continued fulfillment of outcomes will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will work with global and local IS teams to secure the delivery of projects and services as per the agreed objectives, including cost, timeline, architecture, and SLAs. Ensuring IS compliance, including ITGC, IS data privacy, and IS trade compliance requirements, will be essential, adhering to internal and external regulatory requirements as per the IS operating model.

Qualifications For The Role

• To thrive in this role, you bring 10 to 12 years of IT infrastructure operations work experience and demonstrated leadership. You will be responsible for leveraging your strong leadership and collaboration skills to drive our IT infrastructure forward.
• You will be accountable for applying your knowledge of Agile methodology and your expertise in business analysis to develop and implement effective solutions. Your exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, will be essential in managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring clarity in all interactions.
• Your deep understanding of IT security will be critical in maintaining a secure and compliant infrastructure. Additionally, your ability to drive process improvement and optimization will help us achieve operational excellence.
• You will manage service and operation management activities, ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services. Your strategic thinking will guide our infrastructure development, aligning it with our overall business objectives and ensuring long-term success.
