Increased Safety, High Level of Integrity at RIVECO GENERALSIDER S.P.A. in Italy - and a lot of teamwork!✅ We are thrilled to celebrate an important milestone at our Industrial Diagnostic Solutions business unit – the commissioning of SCAN-G at RIVECO GENERALSIDER S.P.A. in Italy! 🎉 Achieving this milestone required a tremendous amount of teamwork. Over 20 colleagues from various fields, including electronics and mechanical design, software and hardware development, automation, sales, planning, and production, contributed to this project. We are fortunate to have such a highly qualified team that can rely on each other to install such a complex test system in a short period of time! Pipes are subject to high loads, making safety and integrity crucial. Our SCAN-G offers an automated UT testing solution for these pipes. For those interested in more details: the SCAN-G features a modular approach to an automated inspection system with gantries. This system allows for cost-effective and reliable inspections of solid bodies, pipe ends, and weld seams. Well done, team! This is Rosenxt. Breaking Boundaries with our Water Integrity Solutions 💦 What a week! Mixing languages and cultures as smoothly as we merge technology and teamwork, we've faced no boundaries, just a shared goal. Our latest challenge took us to Arnhem with our cutting-edge Pilot Tool 500UT V1.0 – a comprehensive UT system, standard leak detection, xyz gyro systems, pressure & temperature sensors plus tracking system make our tool so special. The preparations for our challenge were intense, pushing our team’s expertise to new levels as we tackled the inspection of a critical 1,245-meter pipeline. This isn't just any pipe—it's a vital part of the local sewage system, made of a mix of asbestos cement, glass reinforced epoxy pipe and pieces of cast iron. Ready, set, go – Teamwork and expertise were the topics of the day. By 10am, we were ready to go. At 16.9 GB, the data volume of one survey collected is considerable – and crucial for our next steps of evaluation followed by reporting. Later this year, a part of this pressure pipeline will be replaced, allowing us to examine selected sections in detail to assess wall-thickness degradation. With this CT Data we are able to refine our tools and algorithms, enhancing our ability to diagnose and solve complex issues. Speaking of teamwork - we couldn't have done it without the unprecedented support of the City of Arnhem, especially Erik Laurentzen. Nor would it have worked without the passionate commitment of Johan Post from Partner4Urbanwater and his support in the preliminary phase of this project. So, a big thank you!
