Software developers in #biotechnological projects 👩💻 👨💻 As you may remember, in previous posts, we discussed the biotechnological team’s characteristics and #biotech specialists’ roles. Today, because we celebrate World Programmers’ Day (it’s exactly the 256th day of the year, and this number has a special meaning for developers), it’s time to mention the developers’ team. Developers work closely with biotechnologists and bioinformaticians to create specialised #software. They’re responsible for writing #code and developing the architecture of the software to ensure it’s compliant with biotechnological knowledge, security standards and relevant regulations. Biotechnological software often deals with vast amounts of biological data, such as DNA sequences, protein structures, or clinical trial data. Developers build algorithms and data processing tools to handle, analyse, and visualise this data effectively. They also perform tests and validation and create comprehensive documentation. At Revolve Healthcare, we appreciate our developers’ work and skills, not only in biotech projects. Thanks to them, in our project with obvioTec AG, we developed a desktop app automating quality control of the #pharmaceutics for laboratories. We also proved that it’s possible to reduce measurement time by 80% by technical consultations.
