    Unser Head of E-Commerce Simon Bertschinger sprach mit Shopify über unseren Webseiten Umzug von Magento CE 2.4 zu ShopifyPlus. Shopify Plus half uns die Transaktionen um 65% zu steigern und die Conversion Rate um 45%.     Im Juli 2022 - als vor bald zwei Jahren sind wir von Magento CE 2.4 auf ShopifyPlus umgezogen.. Gleichzeitig haben wir unsere TLD von namuk.ch auf namuk.com migriert, haben die UX auf unserer Website mit Tools wie REVIEWS.io, Rebuy Engine und auch Gorgias verbessert und auch im Hintergrund mit Brightpearl by Sage und Sales Layer wichtige Anpassungen an unserem Tech Stack vorgenommen. Daher ist es zwar vermutlich etwas "unfair" bzw. nicht ganz korrekt, die folgenden KPIs ausschliesslich dem Wechsel des Shopsystems zuzuschreiben (erinnert mich gerade etwas an Last click Attribution) - aber trotzdem ein kleines Zwischenfazit: +45% Conversion-Rate + 70% Umsatzwachstumg (CAGR) - 100h weniger Agenturaufwand pro Monat Die gesamte Case Study von namuk x Shopify und weitere Anregungen wieso ein Systemwechsel zu Shopify für uns absolut Sinn ergeben hat, nachzulesen unter: https://lnkd.in/dxQckfXQ

    We're thrilled to announce that we've teamed up with KEEN to create our first-ever sandal. Following the successful launch of our swim shorts in February, we're excited to expand our Spring-Summer collection with the Seacamp sandal. The KEEN x namuk sandal is tailor-made for adventurous youngsters who love to hike, splash, and dance in the sun, making it a fantastic addition to our lineup. In the same colorways as the shoe (paradise and sunset rose), we've also developed a capsule collection, featuring a sweater, t-shirt, and parka with buttons in the “paradise” colorway. You'll see the full outfits in the pictures. Since our products are mainly associated with beautiful landscapes, mountains, forests and waterfalls (Well, let's guess why? Yes, our photo shoots usually happen there), we wanted to do something different this time. Our aim is to get kids outdoors, no matter where they are. We strongly believe that kids can have the best time just outside their door, enjoying the fresh air under the open sky. And that's what this campaign is all about. We want to empower kids to be themselves and enjoy the outdoors, no matter where they are - true to the motto “Dance in your own world”. For the shoot, we teamed up with Clauda Knöpfel, a Zurich-based photographer specialized in fashion photography and a mother herself. The location remained in Switzerland, but it has a slightly more grey and industrial vibe than our usual images - what do you think? Does it suit namuk? A big thank you to the entire team involved, from design to production to shooting to editing and distribution of the assets. This and the fact, that kids that live in rural areas, spend the same amount of time outdoors than kids living in the city, namely 1.5 hours outdoors - 22.5 hours indoors, daily, was surprising to us. They interviewed parents and experts to understand the reasons behind the shorter time spent outside by Swiss children. It's nice to see, that we could start a discussion around the topic and get the feedback of a lot of parents in the comment section of the article. Let's continue raising awareness about this subject and finding ways to change it for the better. Let's bring nature back for our children. ⛰

    Today is a big day for us. We conducted a study on a very dear topic to us - the outdoor time of children - This morning at 10 AM we released it. We wanted to know: the current status of children’s outdoor time in Switzerland. How much time do they spend outdoors, and what are the impacts? That’s why we surveyed over 1’000 parents during November and December 2023, in Switzerland about their children’s outdoor time.  It turned out that, on average, children spend 22.5 hours indoors. Daily. That was not enough for us - we wanted to dig deeper and understand the “why” behind it, so we spoke to an expert, Philipp Ramming, kids psychologist, who gave us insights into the difficulties parents have nowadays with the high pressure of pursuing a career and at the same time offering their kids a beautiful life in the best case on a farm. Balancing a career and providing a beautiful life for their kids, ideally in a dreamy scenery, can be very challenging. Two-thirds of the surveyed parents claim to have spent more time outdoors as children than their kids. So what changed in nowadays society?  What are the reasons for the change? And how can we create opportunities to bring our children back into nature or nature back to our children? Is it the parents who should proactively change something or is it the institutions such as schools, city planners or children's doctors who should emphasize it more?     Here are some before and after pictures... Since there is no substitute for experiencing something in real life, we have decided to open a pop-up store in Zürich. 🎉 This pop-up store will not only bring our products more to the center of Zürich and give people the opportunity to experience the namuk brand physically, but it will also allow our entire team to meet our customers and vice versa. The whole team, no matter from which department, will work at the store for at least two days until mid-January. We are so much looking forward to the store opening today at 4 pm. 🤩 A special thanks goes to Bettina Hinder, Tina Michel Birbaum, and Valentina Fritz, who transformed the initially sad-looking/empty space within a week into a cozy, warm, and welcoming temporary home for the owl. 🦉 Come by tonight and celebrate the opening with us. 🥂 You will find us at Rotbuchstrasse 16, 8006 Zürich. 🤗
