Austria's parliament approves “Made in Europe” bonus! 🇦🇹✨ Just a few days ago, it seemed the required two-thirds majority was out of reach, but now the National Council has passed the “Made in Europe” bonus. 🎉 The Ministry of Energy and Environment can now, in agreement with the Ministry of Labor and Economy, increase investment subsidies for photovoltaic systems and energy storage if they are built with European components. This amendment to the Renewable Expansion Act (EAG) strengthens European value creation and promotes sustainable energy projects. ☀️ Meyer Burger solar modules made in Germany are available. Sunny outlook for Central Saxony ☀️ In Freiberg, in the district of Central Saxony, this private solar installation was created, consisting of 28 Meyer Burger Black 390 W modules. Accurately and precisely installed by our installation partner KUK Solartechnik, it has a total capacity of 10.9 kWp. Kerstin and Arndt Kaden had clear reasons for choosing our modules: "The long product and performance warranty for the solar modules manufactured in Germany was an important criterion for us, which is why we consciously chose Meyer Burger." Promoting the German solar industry is not only the focus of this private project. The district of Central Saxony is currently planning the construction of a new, large-scale solar park. Initiated by District Administrator Dirk Neubauer and supported by the founding of "Landwerke Mittelsachsen," this solar park is to be built on an area of 1,000 hectares of photovoltaic systems. The goal is to generate one gigawatt of decentralized power, enough to supply about 700,000 households in the district of Central Saxony with electricity.
