An innovative technology that never stops evolving and improving with the aim of supporting #Massive #IoT worldwide. Discover all the new features of the latest release of the TS-UNB specification. Among many new developments: 🔸 class B and class C end-points 🔸higher data rate to decrease uplink power consumption and further increase downlink capacity 🔸 increased performance for low-latency applications Welcome #mioty 2.0! 👏 👏 👏 ETSI and mioty alliance In the comments the link to the full document with all the details of the new ETSI TS 103 357-2 release.
We're thrilled to share that ETSI has published the updated TS 103 357-2 V2.1.1 specification for Short Range Devices and Low Throughput Networks (#LTN). This new version, released in June 2024, provides a comprehensive technical specification for the TS-UNB protocol, which is the key technology of #mioty. The updated specification focuses on TS-UNB protocol, including: 🔸description of class B end-points, that are capable of scheduled downlink communication (i.e. periodic opportunity of downlink transmission) 🔸description of class C end-points, that are capable of event-triggered downlink communication (i.e. on-demand downlink transmission) 🔸higher data rate, that can be used, when link budget is good, to reduce power consumption in uplink and get more capacity in downlink 🔸new time & frequency patterns for low latency applications 🔸timing flexibility in uplink for drain current optimization in devices This release represents a significant step forward in standardizing and improving mioty technology, which is essential for #IoT and #smartcity applications. As the #miotyAlliance, we are incredibly proud of the continuous development and advances of our technology is experiencing through this specification. A big thank you to all our partners and members who have made this success possible! 🙌 Let's shape the future of a connected world together.
