Our team is over excited to gather tonight to watch #Ariane6 maiden flight . 🚀 This launch has a special spin, as it marks several years of collaboration with ArianeGroup and European Space Agency - ESA to deliver a key innovation: the use of opto-pyrotechnics for the control of key phases of the launch. IDQ has been involved in the project since 2017 to develop ground test equipment’s, based on its photon counting technology which is capable to monitor the integrity and performance of Ariane 6 fiber optic control system’s network associated with the opto-pyrotechnic system. ID Quantique and CryptoNext Security have implemented Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) technology with relays secured by Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) on the Orange fiber network for the ParisRegionQCI project. The installed solution combines IDQ’s commercial Cerberis XG QKD system with embedded Clarion KX software suite (Key Management System), CryptoNext’s Quantum Safe Library (C-QSL) and classical symmetric cryptography.
