No matter the amount of time, planning, and organization, even the best-laid plans can go awry – and executive job offers are no exception. When top C-suite candidates withdraw their acceptances, this creates significant and complicated scenarios for the candidates themselves, their current companies, as well as the companies that hired them. That’s why understanding the reasons behind these withdrawals is crucial to prevent and mitigate their risks. Check out our new article by consultant Luis Giolo to learn more: https://ego.nz/3xMdsBD

Equality starts at an individual level – this was a key theme of the recent Leaders & Daughters Event we hosted in partnership with Advance – Gender Equality in Business, thanks to the hospitality of Accenture Switzerland. Through a mixture of panel discussions, breakout sessions, and a networking dinner, we brought together CEOs and C-level leaders and their daughters, sisters, and female mentees to inspire the next generation of female leaders in Swiss business. A huge thank you to our panelists André Wyss, CEO of Implenia, Kamila Grembowicz from Astellas Pharma, Nicole Burth, CEO Communication Services Swiss Post, Laura Burth, Robert Itschner, CEO of BKW AG, and Mio Itschner for sharing their personal stories and highlighting the importance of self-reflection, overcoming biases, and prioritizing diverse voices both within and beyond the workplace. Your inspiring words resonated heavily with everyone who attended, and we can’t wait to see how these conversations impact the executive teams of the future. A huge thank you to our guests, who came up with practical actions that each and every one of us can follow. Our favorite action: “Women, lift each other up!” An additional shoutout goes to Simone Stebler, Dr. Nina Ranke, Elena Rittstieg, and Beatrice Gruetter on the Egon Zehnder team, as well as to our friends and partners Advance – Gender Equality in Business, Anna Mattsson, Alkistis Petropaki, Nora Teuwsen, Konstantina Nani, Katharina Lindner, Sabrina Durante and to Bianca Rathgeb as well as Manuel Meier and Andrea Hopfgartner for bringing this event to life. We look forward to seeing these amazing new leaders in action! #LeadersAndDaughters
