We recently hosted an insightful event in collaboration with the Česká asociace umělé inteligence and Bytegarden at our Prague office, focusing on AI integration in companies. This micro-conference brought together industry leaders and AI enthusiasts to explore practical experiences with AI implementation across various sectors. The goal was to showcase AI as a significant opportunity and discuss strategies for successful AI integration, providing attendees with actionable insights and inspiring future strategic decisions. 🌍 Key learnings included: 📌 Viktor Šohájek from Bytegarden highlighted a crucial factor for AI project success, discovered during the implementation of a profit-maximizing algorithm for an e-commerce platform. 📌 Adam Hanka from Creative Dock shared strategic tips on managing AI transformation, emphasizing the importance of defining goals in two phases: mapping the company's current state and envisioning the transformed company. He stressed making AI a top priority and fostering a mindset shift. Practical steps include identifying internal AI champions, recruiting prompt engineers, and appointing a Director of Acceleration & AI. Tools like internal newsletters and hackathons were recommended to disseminate competencies across the company. 📌 Our panel discussion featured Kateřina Lesch (EmbedIT), Hana Wallenfelsová (Partners Banka), Lenka Libanskaá (Creative Dock), and Ilja Volf (Bytegarden). They shared their experiences with AI transformation, discussing company readiness, future AI development, its societal impacts, and the importance of developing human competencies that AI cannot replace. Driving the Future of Energy Transition. 🚀 We brought together industry experts in the energy sector for an engaging discussion in our webinar "Accelerating Energy Transition: Key Transformations and Net-Zero Transition", moderated by Dominik Krabbe, the Director of Foresight at Rohrbeck Heger - Strategic Foresight + Innovation by Creative Dock. Here's what our speakers had to share: 📌 Elvin Ibishli, Manager Foresight Intelligence, Rohrbeck Heger, shared an impulse speech on the key insights derived from the latest Foresight study on Energy Transition produced by our foresight experts. He emphasized that while demand for fossil fuels is expected to peak in the coming decade and will remain in the energy mix for the foreseeable future, renewable energy is positioned to become the primary energy source by 2030. He also highlighted the increased attractiveness of renewable energy in the global market due to significant cost reductions in deploying renewable technologies. 📌 James Primrose, Energy Transition Strategy Executive, ex bp and Founder of JRK Primrose Consulting Ltd, shed light on the transition pace to renewable energy and obstacles encountered by the energy sector. Addressing the geopolitical context, James added, "We still have a huge gap to bridge in the necessary investment in low carbon energy to be on track to achieve the 1.5C pathway. It's crucial to maintain investment momentum. It is not just about carbon reduction, it's also about energy security and ensuring affordable energy - the energy trilemma.” 📌 Dominika Cimpová, Decarbonisation Manager, ČEZ ESCO, elaborated on the need for energy providers to remain adaptable and flexible in their services and energy solutions. Specifically, she stressed the significance of incorporating CCUS technologies, as well as enhancing grid and battery capacity to advance the transition. 📌 Gunnar Sanner, Technology Trend Advisor at Equinor, shared an intriguing perspective on the possibility of cities and regions developing their self-balancing power systems to bolster self-sufficiency, reducing dependence on imported energy and mitigating exposure to geopolitical risks. Discussing hurdles of energy transition, he emphasized that sustainable fuels like biofuels and e-fuels could play an important role for hard to abate sectors. 📌 Petr Horak, Green Energy Project Lead at Creative Dock Group, explored the prevalent lack of education about the benefits of renewable energy and investment opportunities for individual consumers. While stressing the importance of governments and companies taking proactive measures to educate and engage the public, he underscored the potential of mobilizing existing communities to facilitate and support in energy transition.
