People make the difference: a chat with Myria Camponovo, Customer Care and Service (CC&S) Manager at Cerbios Pharma Myria Camponovo, who can look back on 25 years of experience at Cerbios Pharma, has been leading the reorganized Customer Service department since July 2021. We spoke to her about the increasing role of technology in day-to-day work and the constant challenges her team faces to provide Cerbios partners with exceptional service that ultimately contributes to customer satisfaction and retention. Myria said: "Technology is a valuable tool for our daily work. It has become indispensable. However, I also have concerns, especially with regard to the metaverse and artificial intelligence. Nevertheless, I am firmly convinced that human relationships and individuality will always make the difference. That's why I wholeheartedly support Cerbios' 'People Make the Difference' social media campaign, because I believe that employees play a crucial role in the success of the company." She continued: "We're all committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and reliable service. A high level of customer focus and commitment is a top priority for each of us. This core value of Cerbios guides our business practices and relationships, where customer care is paramount. As a customer service department, our daily challenge is to find the best way to communicate with a diverse clientele, each with their own habits and customs. Let's leave the stage to Pascale: "One of the challenges facing the regulatory team today continues to be the lack of harmonization between countries. While authorities around the world are making efforts to harmonize standards and procedures in different regions, there still seems to be a long way to go. At the same time, regulatory requirements are constantly increasing. This can easily be seen from the fact that new important issues arise every two to three years, which usually lead to major efforts for the industry. I experience this situation particularly with Chinese regulations, which are constantly evolving, with new regulations and medicinal products appearing regularly. Keeping up with these changes is a challenge, but crucial for companies operating in the Chinese market to stay up-to-date. In any case, an important tool is having a close relationship with a local RA expert who can help with more than just overcoming the language barrier. In such a rapidly evolving scenario, I think the important skills of a regulatory affairs professional today should include curiosity, a passion for challenges, and strong problem-solving skills."
