How “Bees” and “Wall” became BeesWall? It all began during a post-merger integration with a former global customer support teammate, MK, who had a unique perspective on our knowledge transfer efforts. MK likened our knowledge-sharing processes to the intricate dance of bees within a hive. - Swift - Efficient - Purposeful. Much like bees buzzing around their hive. But we didn't stop there. We wanted a name that not only captured the essence of our knowledge transfer work but also reflected the visualization of where all our team's information resided. That's where "Wall" came into play. The word "Wall" represents the visual representation of our knowledge repository - a centralized hub where all team information is stored, organized, and easily accessible to those who need it. And so, "BeesWall" was born. #beeswall #peaceofmind #merger #postmergerintegration #pmi #carveout #knowledgemanagement #km
5 biggest Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) ever: Since 2010, about 500,000 merger and acquisition deals have been concluded globally. Let’s go through the most memorable international mergers and acquisitions in history. 5. Exxon X Mobil: ExxonMobil, the biggest oil company, was created by merging two giants for $82 billion. This made them more efficient, stronger in the market, and set the standard for big mergers in the energy industry. 4. SABMiller x Anheuser-Busch InBev SABMiller merged with Anheuser-Busch InBev in 2016 for $103 billion, to form a brewing powerhouse with well-known beer brands. This deal gave them unmatched size and market presence, reshaping the global beer market. 3. Verizon x Vodafone Verizon bought Vodafone's 45% stake in Verizon Wireless for $130 billion, a major move in the company's history. Now, Verizon has full control over its wireless business, giving it more flexibility to pursue goals in the fast-changing telecom industry. 2. AOL x Time Warner One of the notorious mergers was the $164 billion deal between AOL and Time Warner. It aimed to blend AOL's internet expertise with Time Warner's media assets. But it turned into a lesson in M&A history because of problems with merging and the dot-com bubble burst, leading to huge losses. 1. Vodafone x Mannesmann: In 1999, Vodafone bought Mannesmann for $183 billion, the biggest purchase ever. This move made Vodafone the top telecommunications company globally. With Mannesmann's network in Europe, Vodafone became a major player in mobile communications. Did you know about these game-changing M&A deals?

3 most common types of organizational knowledge. 1. Explicit Knowledge: The “WHAT” of information. Explicit knowledge refers to information that can be well-documented, easily communicated, transferable, and articulated in formal language. 2. Implicit Knowledge: The ”HOW” things are done. Implicit knowledge is somewhat of a blend of explicit and tacit knowledge: This knowledge isn't readily apparent. More often than not, it's used without the individual being aware of using it — and without even thinking about it. Once this knowledge is identified, it's relatively easy to document and communicate to new learners. 3. Tacit Knowledge: The “WHY” of expertise. Personal knowledge gained through experience, intuition, and practice. In People’s heads – cannot be documented. What’s your strategy for integrating these knowledge types?

It’s that time of the year again… Only a few weeks left until the end of the year. If things haven’t got hectic yet, they will soon. All the projects that need to be wrapped up, all the deadlines, reprioritization, budgets… Then the holiday madness; the events, gatherings, decorations, traditions, magic (if you have little ones, you know what I’m talking about) - I LOVE IT! It takes a lot of mental resilience, mindset, and emotional intelligence. These are all skills that can be learned and practiced. This quote sums it well. “Those who understand more of them and understand them well (principles/ mental models/ personal knowledge) know how to interact with the world more effectively than those who know fewer of them or know them less well. “ — Ray Dalio Infographic: Michael Simmons —— 👉 Comment, like, follow me ♻️ Share/repost if you find this useful Like my content & want to see more? 🔔 ring the bell on my profile Follow #LinkedinbyBebekaCosandey for future and previous posts #personalknowledgemanagement #mindmapping #mindset #personaldevelopment #leadership #coaching
