In June, our Tianjin site celebrated 'Safe Production Month'. A series of safety related activities were organized to raise safety awareness, enhance safety management, and maintain seamless production operations. Aside from safety training sessions, site inspection and safety tours, the team also hosted an art competition for the employee's children. Through their artwork, the team saw unique perspectives on safety, which inspired both parents and employees to further excel in safety practices. While Safety Month has concluded, safety in production remains an ongoing priority. The team remains committed to maintaining heightened safety awareness and continuously strengthening safety management. 💪 Tianjin was honored as a 'Green Factory' by the Tianjin Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, recognized as Outstanding Enterprise with Foreign Investment and most recently, received the prestigious Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification.

On June 27, 60 participants including Archroma employees and their families from our Atoto site in Mexico, gathered for a meaningful event to celebrate #WorldTreeDay. It wasn't a typical day of tree planting but one that was focused on nurturing and caring for the plants and nature in the surroundings. The event also featured an educational workshop where they learnt about composting and effective watering techniques. It was a fulfilling and impactful day, contributing back to the environment and fostering change one tree at a time. 🌳

Did you know that 80% of a product’s environmental impact is locked in at the design stage? Selecting materials that are low impact and recyclable is essential. When we avoid using toxic chemicals in materials and processes, we make it much easier to safely recycle ♻️ or compost 🚮 the final product when it reaches the end of its usable life.
