Dr. Tarek Shaath is the medical director of Care Dermatology. He is a compassionate, caring dermatologist who provides personalized and gold standard care to all his patients. He will spend time to get to know you as a person, so he can better treat your skin care needs. He enjoys all his patients and is known to treat his patients as if they were his own family. He is knowledgeable in medical dermatology and is skilled as a skin surgeon. His passions include treating severe skin disease and performing skin cancer surgery.

Dr. Tarek Shaath is from the small town of Dodge City, Kansas. He graduated with highest distinction from The University of Kansas and graduated at the top of his class from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he was the recipient of many awards and an NIH funded scholarship at the KU Cancer Center to conduct a study in cancer metastasis. He was inducted into the prestigious alpha omega honor society. He completed his internship at the famous Harvard training hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital in Pediatrics. Dr. Shaath completed his dermatology residency at Florida State University where he served as chief resident.
