ROLE OVERVIEW
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, leading the sales team, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in e-commerce sales. They will work closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with business objectives and drive overall company growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and own a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with PBP’s growth objectives and sales targets.
- Account Acquisition and Retention: Lead the acquisition of small, mid, and
- large-sized retail accounts. Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention rates
- through effective relationship management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to refine product offerings, develop go-to-market strategies, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and define sales tactics to penetrate these markets effectively.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies to meet targets. Provide accurate analysis and sales forecasting to the Executive team for company financial planning.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets. Own team deliverables and meetings.
- Talent Management: Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence within the sales team.
- Tools and Processes: Own sales reporting and supporting tools, including HubSpot. Ensure best practices in CRM management and sales operations.
ABOUT YOU
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in Sales, Sales Leadership, and Sales Operations, with a demonstrated history of improving sales productivity through data-driven insights for strategy planning and sales enablement. Experience within the e-commerce, dropship, or startup space is highly preferred.
- Strategic and Operational Balance: Ability to balance high-level strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution.
- Process Improvement: Proven ability to fine-tune complex sales processes and
- rollouts.
- Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and present them in an
- accessible and actionable manner.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles and how they apply to sales strategy and planning.
- CRM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of HubSpot CRM and best practices for its use.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and communicate effectively.
- Adaptability: Flexible and fast learner who thrives in a dynamic, constantly-changing work environment.
Working Hours as a Global Citizen at PBP!
We’re a global company with team members in Canada, Kenya, India, the USA, Türkiye, Mexico, UK, South Africa, and Colombia. You will be working with teams across multiple time zones so we expect you to work within your standard time zone working hours, but be available from time to time for team meetings that may fall outside of your regular working hours.
