This is a remote position.

As the Vice President of Manufacturing Software Sales, you will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue by leading our sales team, developing strategic sales initiatives, and fostering strong relationships with clients. In this player/coach role, your focus will be on driving software sales within the manufacturing sector both directly and through the larger sales team. This role reports directly to the CEO.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with our business objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build a robust sales pipeline from scratch.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through strategic prospecting.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear goals, provide coaching, and drive results.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Expand our customer base within the manufacturing industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Position our software solutions as essential tools for manufacturers.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Drive revenue through effective negotiations and closing deals.
  • Understand manufacturing processes, challenges, and trends.
  • Leverage this knowledge to tailor the presentation of our analytics solutions to client needs.
  • Stay informed about Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to address client needs.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in B2B software sales.
  • Manufacturing Focus: Proven track record of selling software solutions to manufacturing
  • companies.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
