This is a remote position.

Berkeley is seeking a high performing individual, who is looking to join a high caliber Sales team. You have worked in sales for a minimum of 5 years, have a proven track record of success, but want more challenges, and opportunities to grow. You will drive the growth of our payments-as-a-platform offering in any one of the fields of Fintech enablement, banking solutions, promotion / loyalty / incentives, Gig Pay / Earn Wage Access or Real-time payments. The Sales Director will lead / participate in all aspects of the sales cycle, including generating leads, driving opportunities, managing prospect relationships, creating new sales tools and closing new business. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset to identify and reach prospects and an individual who has experience in B2B sales, money movement and card issuing solutions.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly-motivated, and results-oriented team player with high social intelligence and a natural inclination for selling, who understands the value of research and the importance of personalizing value propositions and messaging to target prospects. The self-motivated individual will have an understanding and experience with Consultative Selling. He or she is

highly driven and values the benefit of being part of an agile growing team.

The successful candidate will be remote (Canada or US based) and will report to the Head of Sales - Acquisition.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales territory plan to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Build a pipeline through proactive prospecting, attending events, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn, Zoominfo, and CRM Management.
  • Analyze sales territories and provide insights using our Sales CRM system for accurate forecasting.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within designated verticals, nurturing potential customer accounts to develop relationships.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations, adapting messaging to improve results continuously.
  • Keep up-to-date with our services and those of our competitors, representing Berkeley Payment positively and providing excellent customer service.
  • Provide issue management during the onboarding of new prospect clients to ensure a positive experience and future repeat business.
  • Occasional travel for high-value prospects or internal meeting requirements.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience in B2B sales, preferably in Fintech or related fields.
  • Knowledge of CRM software as part of the sales process.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in the U.S. sales market is advantageous.
