The Canadian National Institution for the Blind maintains one of the most comprehensive Books-On-Tape libraries in the world. The work of adding to this library is done by volunteers who play the double role of voice talent (reading) and sound engineer (recording). The result is novels, textbooks and periodicals which have been faithfully reproduced as audio recordings from their original print editions.
