CommunityWorks Program, is a federally funded program that provides opportunities for teens who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I worked with supervisors to encourage and enable 4 teens to learn more about their communities, develop valuable work experience, and enhance communication and social skills.

Shining Stars Academy is a Special Needs School in Jakarta, Indonesia that provides a specialized program for children who has a delay in their childhood development and also children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).

At this internship, I worked closely with the Primary Teacher and assisted them in arranging classrooms specific to the needs of 3 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I created new lesson plans based on target behavioral objectives. Modified the general education curriculum for special-needs student based upon a variety of instructional techniques and technologies.
