This week, I wanted to share a little reminder about the importance of planning and prepping for meetings. Whether we're attending a team huddle, client presentation, or even a casual catch-up with colleagues, being prepared can make all the difference in achieving our desired outcomes and ensuring that our time is well spent. Planning ahead allows us to clarify our objectives and set a clear agenda for the meeting. By going through the effort of defining what we hope to accomplish, we can ensure that we’re making the best use of the attendees’ time. This enables us to make the most of our collective expertise and insights and is a demonstration of professionalism. When we plan ahead, we create an environment that promotes productivity and collaboration. Planning doesn’t have to be an exhaustive exercise, sometimes it’s as simple as a note to yourself about the desired outcome and key questions to ask the group.
