𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞 Venjakob has developed a coating line for UV coating with a stencilling transport system that collects the recyclate and continuously feeds it back into the process. The excess overspray created during the coating process of battery cells is collected by the conveyor belt. The paint particles are also filtered out of the air and added to the conveyor belt as recyclate. To reuse the lacquer, it is removed from the conveyor belt using a scraper. Everything had to be painted and stained at the manual spray booth. The surface department was permanently overloaded.   𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫: "We have significant time savings in the finishing process. Things that used to take three to four days at the manual spray booth are now finished in 1.5 days. And that in consistently high quality. This is one of our contributions to a better environment. The systems on our main building were installed in 2011 and 2012 and together they deliver 148 KWp. The photovoltaic system on the new Plant 2 was built in 2024 and delivers 540 KWp! The truck was well attended and provided exciting innovations that our team can now incorporate into their knowledge. The technical innovations are presented by Graco, who have been a long-standing supplier to Venjakob. They are also on the market in the area of bonding technology, which is of particular interest to us! Fun fact: The truck was designed by the designer Colani, who also used to live in Rheda-Wiedenbrück for a while. We would like to thank Graco for stopping by with their technology truck!
