Tim Hortons Camp Day is back on July 17th with 100% of proceeds from all hot and iced coffee sales donated to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps! The mission for Tim Hortons Foundation Camps is to provide life-changing opportunities for underserved youth to help them reach their full potential. Over 320,000 youth have been supported through multi-year development programs in the foundation's 50-year history. Camp Day was kickstarted in 1987 by 58 restaurant owners in Atlantic Canada who donated 24 hours of sales to the Tim Horton Children's Camp in Tatamagouche, N.S. The initiative expanded to all Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada in 1991. Tim Hortons, Tims restaurant owners and guests have collectively raised over $12.7 million on Camp Day last year and a total of over $250 million has been raised since 1991.

It was such a thrill to see The Last Timbit come to life in front of delighted audiences over the last few days! This limited-run Canadian musical was a very special way for us to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Tim Hortons and the unique connections we’ve had with our guests since 1964. It was an honour and privilege to work with some of the very best in Canadian theatre, starting with our producer Michael Rubinoff, the amazing writing team with music and lyrics by Anika Johnson and Britta Johnson and a book by Nick Green, and incredible talent on stage including Chilina Kennedy and Jake Epstein, to name just a few. Thanks to everyone who attended and supported us so positively along the way, and a huge thank you to GUT for the idea in the first place and to Solange Bernard for championing.

President, Canada & USA Tim Hortons

This week, we hosted our Tim Hortons owners’ convention in Toronto – just 70 km away from where it all began in Hamilton on May 17, 1964. It’s truly amazing to think that one small coffee and donut shop, started by one man, would have grown to nearly 5,000 restaurants across North America and would play a central role in the lives of so many people over the last six decades. Tims is a brand that owners, Tims team members, vendor partners and TDL teammates have built from the ground up, for generations, with passion, dedication and hard work – together, making Tims a symbol of warmth and hospitality around the world. And 2024 is a big year for Tim Hortons – it’s the 60th anniversary of our brand in Canada, the 50th anniversary of our incredible foundation – Tim Hortons Foundation Camps – and the 40th anniversary of Tim Hortons in the US. These incredible milestones, that we celebrated together over this last week, are true testament to the hard work over the last 60 years bringing Tim’s vision for our brand to life: “To create a place where anyone could go at any time and feel at home.” Everyone left the week with energy, enthusiasm and excitement about the future of our brand and the incredible opportunities that we have ahead of us to grow for the next 60 years. More than ever, it’s Time for Tims!

Calling all donut fans and sneakerheads – Tim Hortons is announcing a special 60th anniversary collaboration with adidas to celebrate National Donut Day on June 7! Tims and adidas have teamed up on four donut-inspired adidas Samba sneaker designs that will not be available for sale but can be won in a contest, which kicks off TODAY at https://lnkd.in/gyENRmND and runs through Friday - National Donut Day. The four designs available to be won draw inspiration from some of Canada's favourite Tims donuts: Boston Cream, Honey Cruller, Vanilla Dip and Double Chocolate. "We're marking our 60th anniversary with a number of fun surprises for our loyal guests throughout the year and we're thrilled to be partnering with adidas for a celebration of some of the most iconic Tims donuts ever," says Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons. "There will only be four pairs of these incredibly cool, Tims-inspired adidas Samba sneakers available to be won and we can't wait to award them to guests as a way to celebrate our 60th together." Here's a look at each of the four shoe designs: Boston Cream This multi-toned design taps into the three colours in a Tims Boston Cream donut: there's a tan suede representing the donut, a brown outline for the chocolate fondant, and a cream colour on the shoe's tongue and lining representing the venetian cream centre. Honey Cruller This pair features honey tones that are accentuated by pleating details on the tongue to reflect the curves and textures of the Honey Cruller. Vanilla Dip Tanned suedes and white leather mimic the donut and fondant on the Vanilla Dip and are punctuated by a splash of colour featuring the classic donut's sprinkles. Double Chocolate Two shades of dark brown suede are paired to evoke the Double Chocolate's donut and fondant icing. "Tim Hortons 60th anniversary represents an incredible milestone for an iconic Canadian brand, and this collaboration with the adidas Samba - a classic and iconic silhouette that's so loved by Canadians - is a fun and special way to mark the occasion," says Kelly Graham, VP Marketing, adidas Canada. Celebrate National Donut Day with Tim Hortons in style by entering for a chance to win* one of these exclusive donut-inspired kicks at  https://lnkd.in/gyENRmND, between June 3-7. Winners will be drawn on June 10.

Tim Hortons is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the very first Tims restaurant opening its doors, which took place on May 17, 1964 in Hamilton, Ont. "Today we're celebrating all the special connections we've made with Canadians since our founder Tim Horton opened his first restaurant 60 years ago. Tim had a vision to create a place where anyone could go at anytime and feel at home and that continues to be a core part of our mission today," said Axel Schwan, president of Tim Hortons. "We want to thank our guests for making us a part of their lives day after day, year after year, and decade after decade. We also want to thank our restaurant owners and their team members for their daily dedication and pride in upholding the high standards of what Canadians love and expect from us while on their Tims Run." Tim Hortons is proud of its history of partnering with Tims restaurant owners to support communities. In addition to Camp Day's incredible impact, the Smile Cookie campaign has raised more than $129 million since 1996 for local charities and community groups, and Timbits Sports – which first launched in 1982 – supports hundreds of thousands of kids every year with opportunities to play house league hockey and soccer. Tims has also proudly supported Special Olympics Canada since 2016 and launched the Orange Sprinkle Donut in 2021 to support Indigenous charities. "We believe a key part of what makes us Canada's most-loved restaurant brand and why we're considered to be the most Canadian brand is our commitment to supporting every community where we serve, and we could not be more proud of the impact of Tims restaurant owners in their local communities," said Schwan.
