Some new improvements to drone mounted LiDAR for capturing trees. Newer LiDAR systems (L2) now have more power, and a maximum of 5 returns per pulse, delivering an increased return rate and higher sampling rate - improving the L2's penetration and ability to detect small details. The L2 also has a more concentrated beam. This smaller, more concentrated laser creates denser point clouds. https://lnkd.in/etMXZCAw
