Today, we announced Canada’s largest Indigenous equity agreement. Working with the Government of Alberta, Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation and a consortium committee representing Indigenous Communities in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, we have entered into a $1B equity interest purchase agreement with an Indigenous-owned investment partnership for ownership of Canada’s largest natural gas pipeline network. This historic transaction demonstrates Indigenous Peoples want to be part of Canada’s energy industry and its bright future, and an example of what’s achievable when Indigenous Communities, government and industry come together. It’s been an exciting week for TC Energy! From announcing Canada’s largest Indigenous equity ownership agreement, releasing our 2024 Report on Sustainability and sharing our Q2 results, we’ve had big wins across the board. During the second quarter, our Southeast Gateway pipeline project achieved over 98% completion of offshore pipe installation. Through our collective focus on operational excellence, we’ve set all-time delivery records across our Canadian, U.S. and Mexico Natural Gas Pipelines. So far in 2024, we’ve advanced approximately $2.6 billion of asset sales – strengthening our balance sheet and marking substantial progress towards our $3 billion target by the end of the year. We also announced a five-year revenue requirement settlement with unanimous support from our customers and a multi-year growth plan for our NGTL System, positioning us to meet increasing energy demand. In the community of Cazadero, Querétaro in Mexico, an empty lot that used to fill with dust at the slightest breeze has been transformed into a modern soccer field, donated by TC Energía. This project has exceeded all expectations and changed the life of the community. The new soccer field, with covered stands, synthetic grass, bathrooms, changing rooms, and capacity for nearly 400 people, is now a place where boys and girls can train. Currently, 40 boys and 15 girls train twice a week, promoting integration and healthy development. Discover more about this story https://ow.ly/OrtP50SJhuo

50 reliable years of service! Siemens Energy SGT-A35 turbines have been helping us deliver the energy North Americans need at many of our compressor stations, including the first installation at Burstall, Saskatchewan, in June 1974, marking a 50-year legacy of innovation and growth between Siemens Energy and #TCEnergy. Since 2019, we have installed 10 new Siemens units, including two additional units at our Emerson Creek Compressor Station and one more at our Saddle Hills Compressor Station, which both went into service earlier this year. As energy technology improves, so does safety and reliability in how we deliver secure, affordable and sustainable energy across North America. Happy Birthday SGT-A35! Not everyone ages as gracefully as the first SGT-A35 installed by TC  Energy (formerly TransCanada) in Burstall, Saskatchewan, back in June 1974. Originally named the RB211, it is celebrating its landmark 50th birthday by performing just as impressively as it did on day one. It’s a testament to the enduring strength and reliability of the SGT-A35 product. We celebrate the 50th birthday with recent successful installation of three new SGT-A35 GT61 DLE units at the Saddle Hills and Emerson Creek Compressor Stations in collaboration with TC Energy. Siemens Energy continues to invest in the A35 being a vital part to provide affordable, reliable and sustainable Energy Solutions.
