About us
Plains Midstream Canada is a subsidiary of Plains All American Pipeline L.P., a publicly traded master limited partnership with headquarters in Houston, Texas. Plains All American Pipeline L.P. trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “PAA.” In 2001, Plains All American Pipeline acquired the Canadian crude oil pipeline, gathering, storage and terminalling assets of Murphy Oil Company Ltd., as well as the assets of CANPET Energy Group, Inc., a privately held Calgary-based Canadian crude oil and LPG marketing company. These assets, that began operating as Plains Marketing Canada, L.P., now operate under the Plains Midstream Canada banner. The combination of these assets provided a solid foundation for growth in Canada and today Plains Midstream Canada has established a solid and growing presence in the midstream oil and LPG businesses —operating and conducting business in five Canadian provinces and more than 40 U.S. states. Plains Midstream Canada provides solutions to logistical challenges in the crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) businesses. Plains Midstream’s goal is to provide value-added transportation, gathering, marketing, storage and terminalling services to its customers by combining the company’s strategically located assets with its extensive marketing and distribution expertise.

Did you know that when you inform ClickBeforeYouDig.com of your plan to dig or do any type of excavation work, your request will also be directed to your local One Call Center? The One Call Center is a simple service that helps you complete projects safely and lets Plains, and others, know you have a project planned that may disturb the ground so underground utilities can be marked before you dig. Remember, always be sure to have a final status on your ticket before digging. #EveryDigCounts #KnowWhatsBelow #SafeDiggingMonth

In honor of Safe Digging Month, we want to remind everyone who plans to dig that contacting ClickBeforeYouDig.com in Canada is one of the easiest ways to protect you and your community. Every day, Plains safely transports more than eight million barrels of crude oil and NGL to meet the growing global demand for hydrocarbons. As North American crude oil and natural gas production continues to expand, pipelines remain the most efficient and environmentally responsible way to transport this essential energy. We are excited about the future as we strive to deliver energy that is affordable, reliable, and responsible. #midstream #energy #infrastructure #EnergyInfrastructure
