What an incredible week it was at #eHealth2024! Here’s a short recap of what our team was up to: • Our CEO, Jeffrey Kavanagh, and Director, Government Program Services, Lori-Anne Payson, gave an amazing presentation to a packed room of attendees, eager to hear about leveraging existing technologies to drive rapid change. • We enjoyed seeing several of our colleagues and clients give their own presentations across a range of eReferral and patient-experience topics (hi eHealth Centre of Excellence!) • We officially launched our Horizons Program, a cross-provincial initiative for collaboration, with a gathering of incredible minds and thought leaders, ready to share program implementation successes and learnings. Not pictured are the countless opportunities and conversations had with attendees about the importance of better healthcare with interoperability. Canada is moving in the right direction when it comes to digital health and we feel extremely fortunate to be apart of this movement. Here’s to next year’s conference 🎉

From self serve forms to appointment reminders, online booking to secure messaging, and so much more, it is humbling to see the tangible impact we’re making on patient care and practice efficiency. We’re immensely grateful to our dedicated team, visionary partners, and of course the clinics and patients across Canada who put their trust and support into Ocean. Today we had the honour of welcoming Emmanuelle Lamoureux, Deputy General Heath Care Strategies for Health Canada | Santé Canada, at both the OceanMD office and Dr. Doug Kavanagh's clinic to see firsthand how Ocean is contributing to Canada’s digital health landscape. During the visit she was able to get an introduction to Ocean, a glimpse into our product design process, and a walkthrough of how Ocean tools support clinical workflows, in a real clinic. Thank you again to Emmanuelle for taking the time to stop by, learn about Ocean, and for sharing your thoughts on the critical role of advancing digital health innovation in Canada.
