In May, the NSBA submitted a letter to the Saskatoon Police Board of Commissioners with five recommendations, including the 'Enhancement and Improvement of Crime Reporting Process for Crimes Over $5,000'. Following a meeting with the Chief of Police and a presentation to the Police Board in June, we are pleased to see a step towards enhancing business safety through the implementation of a new reporting system. Can anyone belong to the NSBA regardless of their location? - Yes – we work for business primarily in Saskatoon but not just in the north end. - Approximately to 40% to 45% of our members are in other parts of the city or, in some cases, in bedroom communities of Saskatoon or in rural areas.
