How to add your service offerings
Your service offerings let Yelp users know what specific services your business offers. Are you a dry cleaner that also offers tailoring? Or an electronic repair shop that only works on computers? By adding your service offerings, Yelp users find what they need, and you get more targeted and relevant queries.
How to add your service offerings on the Yelp for Business site on desktop or mobile browser:
- Log in to Yelp for Business.
- Click Edit next to Categories.
- If there are service offerings available, they will appear below your selected category. Select the service(s) you offer, and click Save.
How to set your service area
Your service area shows Yelp users how far you’re willing to travel for a job. It will help you connect with the right customers—improving the location accuracy of inquiries you get from users searching Yelp for businesses like yours.
How to set up your service area on the Yelp for Business site on desktop or mobile browser:
- Log in to Yelp for Business.
- Under Business info on the right, click service area.
- Enter the cities or zip codes your business services, and click Save Changes.
Yelp allows you to enter up to six major cities or zip codes that your business serves. Any cities between the locations you specify will be included in your service area automatically. Service areas are limited to a 50-mile radius or a 100-mile diameter between the two furthest points.
If your business services areas outside of these limits, you can specify this in the specialties section of your business page or post a photo of a full highlighted map of the areas you service.
