Google Earth has a commercial version with advanced features that include hi-res image export, the option to take land and volume measurements, access to additional layers with demographic and survey information, and data import in GIS (geographic information systems) format. Now, as of a few days ago, it’s gone from its former annual cost of nearly $400 to totally free.

This version of the desktop client is focused on professional use in different fields thanks to the aforementioned features, which are further complemented by video export in 1920×1080 and the creation of renderized images of unlimited size based on a mosaic of blocks of land textures.
