The San Francisco enter Super Bowl 58 as a favorite for the 20th time this season.

The NFC champion is a two-point favorite over the Kansas City Chiefs for Sunday's tilt at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Kansas City has notably won outright as an underdog in its past two playoff games against the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens.

The success of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Co. not only in the underdog role, but as two-time Super Bowl champion, make them such a popular pick.

Some bettors can also point to Kansas City's win over San Francisco in Super Bowl 54 as an edge that could help Andy Reid's team lift the Lombardi Trophy.

The point spread is far from the only thing to wager on for the Super Bowl. In fact, it may be the most plain bet to make given the wide array of props available.

    Point Spread: San Francisco (-2)

    Over/Under: 47.5

Money Line: San Francisco (-120; bet $120 to win $100); Kansas City (+100; bet $100 to win $100)

The 49ers are 9-10 against the spread this season. They were favored in all of those contests.

The shortest spread in favor of the 49ers came in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. They were favored by at least three points in every other game before the Super Bowl.

Kansas City is 3-0 ATS and outright as an underdog this season. The Chiefs beat the Bills and Ravens in the playoffs with their starters on the field and defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18 with their backups on the gridiron.

The assumption about the Chiefs is they would have a strong record to the over because of their offense, but that is not the case.

Kansas City is 6-14 to the over, and the under is 5-1 in its past six games. The only over in that stretch occurred in the divisional round win over Buffalo.

San Francisco owns an 11-8 record to the over, and its NFC Championship Game win over the Detroit Lions was its only postseason over cash.

Travis Kelce and Christian McCaffrey should receive plenty of bets on their traditional props, like receiving and rushing yards and touchdowns.

McCaffrey holds the lowest odds to score a touchdown at -225, while Kelce sits at -110 to find the end zone.

Those props just scratch the surface of what you can bet on for Super Bowl 58.

You can wager on everything from the over/under of the jersey number of the first touchdown scorer to unique props like a scorigami or an octopus, which is when a player scores a touchdown and converts a two-point play on the same series.

You can even bet down to the minute details of the first quarter. Every player's first pass, rush and reception has an over/under attached to it, including McCaffrey's first run at 3.5 yards.

Of course, the novelty props, like the national anthem, color of the Gatorade bath and coin toss are listed as well. The variety of those props is depending on your state's gaming laws.
