The time has nearly arrived. It's Super Bowl Sunday, and either the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers will be crowned the champion of the 2023 NFL season with a victory in Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS. So there's still some time left to place bets on the first Super Bowl to be held in Vegas.

The Chiefs are looking to win their third Super Bowl title in five years, while the 49ers are aiming to capture their first championship since the 1994 season. The two teams previously met in Super Bowl LIV, when Kansas City won 31-20.

Here's a look at some final betting info, along with late advice for wagering. All odds/lines are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Over/Under Advice

    Over/Under: 47.5 total points

This line seems a bit low for Super Bowl LVIII, which will feature plenty of offensive playmakers on both sides. Kansas City's passing attack is always potent with quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce, while San Francisco's unit is led by running back Christian McCaffrey, the winner of this season's Offensive Player of the Year Award.

Sure, both teams have solid defenses, too. But this is the Super Bowl, and both offenses will likely be trading haymakers with the championship on the line.

There won't be as many points as last year's Super Bowl (when the Chiefs notched a 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles). But expect Kansas City and San Francisco to combine for at least 48 points.

San Francisco RB Christian McCaffrey: -225 (bet $225 to win $100)

Kansas City RB Isiah Pacheco: -120

Kansas City TE Travis Kelce: -110

San Francisco WR Deebo Samuel: +135 (bet $100 to win $135)

Kansas City WR Rashee Rice: +135

San Francisco WR Brandon Aiyuk: +175

San Francisco TE George Kittle: +175

There's no safer bet to get into the end zone than McCaffrey, who scored two touchdowns in the Divisional Round (vs. the Green Bay Packers) and another two in the NFC Championship Game (vs. the Detroit Lions). He should get at least one in Super Bowl LVIII.

Pacheco is a safe pick, too. The Chiefs running back has scored exactly one TD in each of the team's first three playoff games, and he should have a strong showing in a favorable matchup against the Niners' run defense.

If you're looking to make more of a profit, consider a bet on Samuel to get into the end zone. The 28-year-old wide receiver hasn't scored a touchdown yet in the playoffs, so he's due for one before the season is over.

Super Bowl MVP

Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes: +125

San Francisco QB Brock Purdy: +235

San Francisco RB Christian McCaffrey: +450

Kansas City TE Travis Kelce: +1200

San Francisco WR Deebo Samuel: +2000

It's no surprise the two starting quarterbacks have the best odds of winning Super Bowl MVP. The award has gone to a QB in 32 of the first 57 Super Bowls, including in five of the past seven.

Mahomes is already a two-time Super Bowl MVP, and the 28-year-old could join an elite club by winning his third. Only Tom Brady (five) and Joe Montana (three) have won that many.

The 49ers are a slight betting favorite to win, but the Chiefs shouldn't be ruled out because they're the underdog. Kansas City was in the same role last year, when it was victorious against Philadelphia in Super Bowl LVII.

The prediction here is that the Chiefs will win, and if that's the case, Mahomes will likely earn another MVP honor. He'll be the primary reason for Kansas City establishing itself as a dynasty.
