Search for "Ceiling Anchor Wall Mount Bracket Suspension". These are made in China and commonly branded by exercise companies. Think hanging weight bags or suspension straps for yoga. They are a good low cost option for walls or ceilings and have screws for wood or concrete joists.
There are a lot of fancy products to do this. However, I found the hard way that in a home garage, the simplest is the best.
