Sep 28, 2022 at 12:13 comment added jayded-bee To answer this comment, with this particular bicycle, yes, the dropout spacing is different from that of a modern bicycle. The original axle seems to have been a bit narrower than the 130 mm one I have installed currently. Thankfully it is steel so it's easy to bend or simply force the hub into place (even without cold setting).
