2The fork probably can be repaired (see Warren's answer), but I wouldn't worry too much if you can't get it working again. Suspension doesn't have that much use on this type of bike. It's probably specced more for cosmetics to make potential customers think it is comfortable more than due to a practical reason.– Andy PCommented Apr 25, 2022 at 15:15
