Oct 4, 2021 at 15:55 comment added FreeMan My point, @Carel. I addressed that because other answers/comments mentioned it as a potential problem. When doing a track stand, you can often have severe wheel deflection with the cranks level and even then it wasn't a problem for me.
Oct 4, 2021 at 15:52 comment added Carel Yes because other than at walking speed or below you don't steer a bike by turning the wheel into the intended direction. Turning right is done by giving the front wheel a slight impulsion to the left which breaks the gyroscopic effect and tilting the bike to the right. In the turn both wheels will be aligned.
