  • Heating and cooling with minimal energy? That’s what an 𝗮𝗶𝗿-𝘁𝗼-𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 does.  This type of heat pump transfers energy or heat from the outside air and blasts it into your home as warm air. Did you know that an air-to-air heat pump is more energy efficient than a traditional heating system, by as much as 75%? How does an air source heat pump work and why is it so advantageous? You can read all about it in our blog article: https://lnkd.in/emFvGC8k (NL) / https://lnkd.in/ehg3tCM5 (FR)

  • 🏎 The 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮-𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀 in the lush Ardennes combines motor sports with breathtaking views. But that’s not all: it's also at the top of its class when it comes to technology. A new grandstand with 4,600 seats has recently been constructed at the famous Raidillon corner, one of the most loved and feared bends in the world. The new grandstand needed an 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, and the installation timeframe during the busy winter season was very tight. Climaveneta NX-CN heat pumps were installed. These are ideal for the small spaces and can adapt to even the most extreme rapidly changing weather conditions. Ideal for locations like Spa Francorchamps, where spectator comfort and experience are highly prized. R290, also known as 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲, is a natural refrigerant for heating and air conditioning systems. Its global warming potential, or GWP, is just 3, which means that it has only three times the impact of carbon dioxide on the environment – much lower than other refrigerants, which can have GWP values of 675 or even over 2000. From 2027, it will no longer be allowed to produce new air/water heat pumps with capacity less than 12kW that use refrigerants with GWP higher than 150. Mitsubishi Electric is getting ready for this change in European law: the switch to R290 is a response to the forthcoming ban on using refrigerants with high GWPs in new appliances. If you are an installer and have questions about R290, just get in touch with your Mitsubishi Electric account manager.

  • The 𝗖𝗢𝟮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 from Mitsubishi Electric offers multiple advantages: it can heat water up to 90°C and therefore helps to fight bacteria such as Legionella in large facilities.  This kind of heat pump not only protects your health but makes a minimal contribution to the greenhouse effect too. Installation is easier as well, thanks to less strict regulations.  Want to find out more about the advantages and possibilities? • ☁️ 𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 is Mitsubishi Electric’s cloud-based app for efficient management of large-scale, professional HVAC installations. — AI (artificial intelligence) allows you to prevent faults and increase the lifespan of your systems. But there are other useful possibilities too: — The basic ‘Monitor & Control’ package works as a central remote control for targeted maintenance work, such as filter checking and reading of fault codes. — With the energy module, you can see your energy input down to the level of each indoor unit. That way you maintain insight into your energy consumption and can see where there are savings to be made. — The option ‘Service & Maintenance’ offers remote service, so its quicker to solve problems and prevent faults. In short: MELCloud Commercial has everything you need to achieve energy optimisation and reduce your environmental footprint in professional installations.
