The UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) has completed a positive Risk Assessment of our Novel Food application for natural 🌱 CBD isolate. This groundbreaking achievement sets a new global standard for CBD regulation, ensuring safety and fostering innovation in the industry. The next phase involves Risk Management, after which the approval will be forwarded to the minister for final authorization. 👉 Our rigorous studies and a 5-year intellectual property protection offer a significant competitive edge to all partners in our Consortium. 🌱 Today, EIHA had the pleasure of attending an insightful event organized by CannabisHub in Madrid, focusing on the regulation of CBD and other hemp-derived products in Spain and the EU. 📢 The main and solid messages delivered are the need to address the current interpretation by Spanish authorities of the UN Single Convention of 1961. There is also a pressing need to include all industrial products, encompassing all parts of the hemp plant, under the mandate of the Agriculture Ministry. Adopting a whole plant approach is essential for sustaining the supply chain in our sector. 🙏 We would like to extend our gratitude to all the team for organizing such a significant event. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with stakeholders in the technical textile sector and advocate for the use of sustainable materials.
