Dave Levy leads government, education, healthcare, aerospace and satellite, and non-profit businesses globally. He and his teams help customers realise the potential of technology to transform their organisations and fulfil their missions. Previously, Dave served for six years as the Vice President of U.S. Government, Non-profit, and Global Healthcare businesses for AWS. Dave's team is focused on helping customers use data in more sophisticated ways. Before joining AWS, Dave worked for Apple Inc. for 12 years and led the teams that helped the government adopt innovative mobile technologies.

Donna loves solving problems that help make people's lives better. With leadership experience in strategy, design, and scaling businesses across the healthcare, education, and financial services sectors, Donna joined the Florey Institute in 2021 to lead several strategic initiatives including the $30m MRFF awarded, Australian Epilepsy Project (AEP). Donna is passionate about leading the AEP as it is changing thousands of lives and has the potential to transform the way that brain healthcare is diagnosed and delivered globally.

Previously Abbey has worked as a lawyer in various roles across the OPP, including in general prosecutions, drugs, appeals, and policy and specialised legal. Abbey’s vision for the organisation includes the Digital Transformation Program to modernise and improve technology and explore AI.

The text generation use case will highlight how SageMaker can be used to automatically generate text summaries for government documents, such as reports, policies, and legislation. The image generation use case will demonstrate the potential of SageMaker in generating realistic images, which can be applied in areas such as public awareness campaigns, product or service imagery and diagrams to accompany technical reports or documentation.

Sessions are focused on providing an overview of AWS services and features, with the
assumption that attendees are new to the topic.

Level 200: Intermediate

Sessions are focused on providing best practices, details of service features and demos with the assumption that attendees have introductory knowledge of the topics.

Level 300: Advanced

Sessions dive deeper into the selected topic. Presenters assume that the audience has
some familiarity with the topic, but may or may not have direct experience .

Level 400: Expert

Sessions are for attendees who are deeply familiar with the topic, have implemented a
solution on their own already, and are comfortable with how the technology works.
