Adelaide Fringe is seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior D&I Coordinator to join their team. You will be responsible for overseeing and driving the Reconciliation, Sustainability, Accessibility, and Multicultural committees both internally and externally. The Senior D&I Coordinator will manage and facilitate community outreach while actively participating in strategies to transform organisational culture in the domains of D&I.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and drive initiatives with internal committees relating to diversity and inclusion, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, fostering and maintaining strong relationships while promoting inclusivity within the community
Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, operating with a commercial lens when required
Maintain a respectful, calm, and sensitive temperament when dealing with sensitive topics and issues related to diversity and inclusion
Demonstrate agility and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Foster a can-do attitude while remaining positive, motivated, and focused on achieving outcomes
Embrace a flexible working environment, including some out-of-hours work as required
Collaborate with the team to create a hybrid working model that promotes work-life balance
Skills And Experience
Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of diversity and inclusion initiatives
Demonstrated knowledge and capacity to promote social justice and/or inclusion through social policy, community development or strategic service planning
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of supporting cultural or organisational change
Ability to initiate, lead, plan, prioritise and organise work within a set timetable and in an environment of change and conflicting demands
Ability to liaise and work effectively across Fringe and with external agencies and community groups
A positive attitude and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for diversity and inclusion
Skills in program/project management, including facilitation, planning, development, monitoring and evaluation
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize tasks.
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly within diverse communities
Experience in measuring the impact of initiatives and identifying ways to adapt and improve
Knowledge of forming Action Plans in the diversity and inclusion space desirable
A self-driven approach to work, managing your own time and workload effectively
Strong administrative skills ensuring smooth operations within the department
Essential Criteria
Genuine understanding of social justice, diversity and inclusion principles
Demonstrated knowledge and capacity to support workforce diversity and inclusion initiatives
Capacity to work collaboratively and build partnerships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
Strong resilience and emotional intelligence
Experience in developing strategies and policies
Strong Administration experience
