Have you heard of At-Will employment? 🤔 Effectively - in US labour law, at-will employment is an employer's ability to dismiss an employee for any reason, and without warning, as long as the reason is not illegal. Similarly, the employee can leave without reason. No notice periods required. As explained below by PGC Group's Clarke Bowles - All things North America, the nature of the US employment landscape, and at-will employment - makes for a highly transient market, and a real need for strong partnerships between employers and recruitment agencies. There's lots to learn about the US staffing market - and opportunities for agencies in Australia to break in, on the ground, or via the recruit form afar model. Sophie was joined by fellow judges Rod Hore and Amy Towers recently to give their tips on what makes a competitive entry. If you're thinking of entering, and you want some tips from the judges, you can view the recording at the APSCo website here: https://lnkd.in/gR6xr4B6
