Packaging wood into biomass – with UNTHA's LR1400 🔥 @Biohort GmbH designs and manufactures high-quality metal sheds. The packaging wood and pallets required for the delivery of the steel sheets are shredded directly on site using a UNTHA LR1400. The result - uniform wood chips that are ideal as fuel for the company's own biomass plant. The LR1400 shreds up to 1.5 tonnes wood per hour to a particle size of 30-40 mm. The shredder is fed by forklift. Thanks to the special hopper, even long squared timber can be fed without any problems. The shredded wood is fed onto a conveyor belt and metal parts are removed using a metal separator to guarantee pure output material. The material is transported to a chip bunker via an ascending screw conveyor with a height of 10 metres, including a chip spinner. #untha #shredder #wastewood

Efficient UNTHA processing lines for WEEE 📍🇫🇷 Each year RSB by Cordon Group in France processes approximately 7,000 tonnes of electronic waste from the telecommunications sector. The various materials are shredded, separated from each other and returned to the material cycle. Practical UNTHA system concept for waste wood 📍🇦🇹 The central warehouse of the Raiffeisen Association (RVS) has around 8,000 pallet spaces and serves as a transshipment centre for over 10,000 different items. The quantities of waste wood that accumulate there are correspondingly large. A UNTHA shredder - model LR1400 - was put into operation in order to utilise this in a sensible way: ✔️ Throughput: 40-50 pallets per hour ✔️ Homogeneous wood chip quality ✔️ Particularly resistant to foreign bodies ✔️ Low maintenance thanks to robust design & central lubrication system The shredder is equipped with a special hopper into which pallets and packaging wood are loaded using a forklift. The shredded wood is transported into a roll-off container via an ascending conveyor belt and a distribution screw conveyor. Metal parts are sorted out using a magnetic separator. Dubai’s first UNTHA shredder 📍🇦🇪     Recently an UNTHA XR3000C started its journey to Dubai, accompanied by our service technician Reinhard Eder. The shredding solution with a dry chiller – invented for environments with very high temperatures – was brought to our customer Dulsco. At the companies site the XR will be shredding waste material for the production of    refuse derived fuel (RDF). ⚙️   The assignment included support with unloading the shredder, integrating it into the customer's existing conveyor system and taking it into operation.
