The POLYTEC Group is represented worldwide🌍 and consists of 21 locations on 4 continents! Today we would like to introduce our location in Idar-Oberstein, where around 260 of our co-creators work.💪 With the help of over a dozen machines, they produce some of our exterior components for the automotive industry. These include full-body kits, roof and rear spoilers and fender extensions. To further improve the production processes of our plastic solutions, we are currently working on the introduction and use of artificial intelligence (AI)✨. Stuttgart has been a particularly hot spot in recent weeks - not only is the UEFA EURO 2024 ⚽ currently taking place, but also the Battery Show🔋 has made a stop here! POLYTEC was also present and had the demonstrators for battery housings in its luggage. Together with partners, customers and interested parties, we discussed the latest developments in the field of e-mobility. On 11 June 2024, the POLYEC GROUP presented itself at the Vienna Stock Exchange Information Day, this time in Klagenfurt. Our Investor Relations Manager, Paul Rettenbacher, explained the current development of the automotive industry and that of the POLYTEC GROUP. The 50 or so securities advisors in attendance were particularly impressed by the car parts and product examples brought along. Other speakers included Helge Rechberger (Raiffeisen Bank International AG), Uwe Kolar (Erste Group Bank AG), Ines Pfeil (UBM Development) and Lisa Galuska (PORR Group). >> POLYTEC: Q1 2024: increased sales, EBIT positive again << POLYTEC GROUP's sales revenues in Q1 2024 amounted to EUR 172.3 million, up 2.7% on the high level of the previous year (Q1 2023: EUR 167.8 million). Negative trend of EBIT has been stopped. After minus EUR 3.0 million in Q3 and minus EUR 4.0 million in Q4 2023, POLYTEC turned the EBIT back to a positive level amounting to EUR 1.4 million (Q1 2023: EUR 0.2 million). Outlook 2024 unchanged optimistic: The management of POLYTEC Holding AG furthermore expects planned sales revenues in the range of EUR 660 million to EUR 710 million and is targeting an EBIT margin of around 2% to 3%. A powerful and joyful run with a special mission! 🌎🏃 Last Sunday, our colleagues took part in the Wings for Life World Run and ran a total of 223.51 kilometres. Wings for Life - Spinal Cord Research Foundation is a non-profit foundation for spinal cord research with the sole mission of finding a cure for spinal cord injuries.
