♻️ Circular news: International technology group ANDRITZ has secured an order from MVA Bielefeld-Herford GmbH to supply an EcoFluid bubbling fluidized bed boiler for a new sewage sludge mono-incineration plant in Germany. 👉 The facility will ensure a resource-efficient and environmentally friendly disposal while enabling valuable phosphorus recovery, further supporting a circular economy. 💚 Proud to hear: "ANDRITZ presented a technically advanced concept and impressed us with their expertise, performance, and commitment", Project Manager Alexander Krenzer stated in the press release. 🎉 Proud to announce: ANDRITZ apprentice Valentino Muchitsch has won "Gold" in mechanical engineering at the StyrianSkills competition. 700 top talents competed in six disciplines at this renowned apprenticeship competition in spring. In addition to a theoretical part, our 18-year-old colleague had to turn and mill a workpiece and perform various pneumatic tasks. The young technician from Voitsberg is particularly fascinated by the wide variety of tasks at ANDRITZ. "The best thing about my job is going to assembly," says Valentino: "You always see something new. What's more, there are hydropower plants everywhere - and Andritz operates worldwide. 🌍We are supporting La Réunion's goal to eliminate landfilling and boost energy autonomy! French energy company Albioma has selected us to supply a waste-to-energy line for the Bois-Rouge power plant on the island. 👉 The new boiler will treat 70,000 tons of high calorific waste annually, converting household waste into energy. ♻️ This project, set to be operational by the end of 2026, will help divert waste from landfills, conserve fossil fuels, and contribute to a more circular economy. ♻️ Read more: https://lnkd.in/d7TXd4y5

🎉 We are happy to announce that Xin Wang will join ANDRITZ as Head of the Battery division in the Metals Forming business area (Schuler). He has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive and lithium-ion battery industries. Xin joins us from SVOLT Energy Technology, a Chinese manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries and energy storage systems, where he was Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, he held management positions at the Sunwoda Power Battery Group and Shanshan Holding Group. He also worked in the area of e-mobility at Groupe PSA, which included the Citroën, Peugeot and Opel brands. Please welcome Xin to ANDRITZ and give him your full support.

Kumaran, at our ANDRITZ headquarters in Graz 🇮🇳🤝🇦🇹 ANDRITZ shares a long and historic relationship with India, dating back to 1902 when we established the first large-scale hydropower plant in Shivasamudram, which is still in operation today! In 1995 and 1996, we set up our turbine and generator manufacturing facilities in India. We are now proud to employ over 2,600 people in the country. All our four business areas – Hydropower, Pulp & Paper, Environment & Energy, and Metals – are thriving in India. 🌟 We continue to foster strong partnerships and contribute to the country's industrial growth and sustainability. This modernization will ensure reduced emissions, meeting new legal requirements and securing the plant's future. The project, set to begin in late 2024 and complete by 2028, includes the installation of four state-of-the-art flue gas cleaning lines using the TurboSorp process.
