Jan 29 at 7:35 | comment | added | uhoh | @DavidHammen where can I complain that there is no "x" in gastrophysics? Who killed "galaxtrophysics"? Where can I turn to generate some manufactured outrage about portmanteauage I disagree with?

Jan 28 at 6:35 | comment | added | David Hammen | Regarding your side question, gastrophysics has two distinct meanings per wiktionary: (1) a portmanteau of galaxy and astrophysics, and (2) a portmanteau of gastronomy and physics. Google "knows" the meanings of words and keeps track of what others (and you; Google's results are somewhat tailored to the searcher) have searched for and the links they have selected to follow. A lot more people search for cooking recipes as opposed to searching for insight on galaxy formation. Help Google along by searching for "gastrophysics galaxy astrophysics".
